This video is a continuation in a series of videos detailing each of the WordPress Settings pages. This video will focus on Miscellaneous Settings.

Hi
I have been going nutzy trying to find how one adds, delete/hides items to the nav menu just below the header.
I know , it seems by default?, pages show up.
I found a plugin (wp-hide pages) that easily hides pages if desired.
Specifically Items like register, login, logout
I have looked on WP.org but the explanations are a bit lean??
I am not a programmer but do have a baasi understanding of code a bit. Like HTML needs and tags and PHP has a format etc…
I have search for plugins that handle the menu . Pixopoint is a great one but so darn compicated I can not figure out how to use it. This website demonstrates what it can do:
http://dunedinicehockey.co.nz/ Dunedin Ice hockey site in new zeland.
Any help would be appreciated before I delete the entire site LOL
Thanks
Sherwood
@Sherwood – First, thanks for pointing out the CAPTCHA problem, that’s been fixed.
WordPress 3.0+ has a new Menus option under appearances. If you’re using the new default theme (2010) you should be able to create a new menu and assign it to the Primary Navigation spot. From there you can assign whatever you want to the menu.
I’m due for some video updates and this might be a good one.
